Welcome to the Willett Playground project site
 
Fundraising goal reached!!!
Thank you to everyone who donated money, time and/or services!! As a result we have ordered the equipment and are having a community build on Saturday April 5, 2008.   W Walsh Co has been amazing getting the site ready for the build day.   They have donated their services to clear out the old equipment, level the ground and get all the post holes dug.  They will also be there on build day to help with installation. 

Another big thank you to R.J. Cobb Landclearing, Inc - they are donating the wood chips!

Willett Elementary School is located in Attleboro, MA.  We have had a desperate need to update our playground.    The previous playsystem was a wooden structure that was a generation old and was decaying.   Occasionally the playground had to be closed when bees were active as they tended to nest in the wooden components.

We Still Need Your Help!
 
While we exceeded our fundraising goal - we have had unexpected construction costs.  We had add stairs to an existing staircase and put in retaining walls.   Every little bit helps!
