WBHLI in Newcastle, Wyoming (pop. 3,000) has selected a city park on the west end of our community as a group project. The existing playground equipment in the park is very old and dilapidated and was donated from the old elementary school. It is unsafe for the children to use, and a potential health hazard. The WBHLI is working with the city to improve this park. There is no funding for playground equipment or for the rubber mats to lay beneath. Any assistance would help us put new equipment in the park that is attractive, and more importantly, safe for the children.
