Hi, my name is MFH and I started a project for Heaven's Playground. I looked at a location for build today and I think this spot is excellent for playground space. The area is actually a sitting park. I wanted to know how does this work? I believe the Parks Department owns the spot. Don't I need to somehow contact them for permission to build there? If anyone can give me feedback on this I would greatly appreciate it so that I can move on with the progress of my project.
Thanx!
MFH

Contacting the city, MFH, is an absoulte must.
First, you want to confirm that it is the city that owns the land and if not, who does own it. You will also want to find out what, if any, plans they have for the site. If the conversation goes well enough you may have found a partner for your project.

MFH, once you find out who the land belongs to, you will also want to find out what kinds of permits you would need to build in that location. Congratulations on your upcoming project! Please keep us updated on the status and send pictures when it is done!
