Hello!
I am new here and I have very simple question: how can one young man build a playground in Ukraine for orphan kids? How can I raise money here? Should I open an bank account? This is a dream for everybody here. Please help me to build a fairy tail for kids.

Hey Alexander
I love that you're looking to build a playground in Ukraine! There was recently a young man, Alex Griffith, here that raised money to build a playground at an orphanage in Krasnayorsk, Russia. http://www.krasplayground.org/
There are a lot of ways that you can fundraise or even apply for a grant. You can find here on the KaBOOM! website lots of ideas for fundrasing that I know would work great in Ukraine. Whether you were to put up your own table at the local rinok where the profit would go to your playground, or to have a variety show or concert, there are a lot of options you can use. You should also look into the many grant options there are in Ukraine.- there is the Democracy Grant, Small Grants Program, ACLS Humanities Grant Program and many others. Another resource you may want to use is the Peace Corps. There is a large network of American volunteers from this organization, Peace Corps, that could very much help you with finding grants, fundraising, and other options. Please keep us informed on your progress, and let me know if there is anyway that I might be able to help. U Dachi Vam!
