Welcome to Keep the Wheels Rolling - Pequannock Skate Park, Inc. - NJ
Build Date: Spring 2008

On March 27, 2007 the Pequannock Township Council, County of Morris, New Jersey gave a commitment to give $15,000 as seed money for equipment toward a skate park.  In return, the skate park committee, Keep the Wheels Rolling, will raise equipment funds through private fund raising.   When the equipment funding is secured by the committee, the council will fund the park infrastructure.  Operational rules will be formulated by the Park & Recreation Dept. & the Township Council based on an outline presented to the council on March 27th by the skate park committee.

On April 27th the skate park committe, Keep the Wheels Rolling, formed a non-profit corporation called Pequannock Skate Park, Inc.  This will allow businesses as well as individuals to contribute to the skate park on a tax exempt basis.  The corporation is currently filing with the IRS for its tax exempt status and will shortly be able to accept donations on a tax exempt basis.

Keep the Wheels Rolling's 1st fund raiser will be held at the Pequannock Street Fair on Sunday, June 10th.  Check out our booth!  On Go Skateboarding Day, June 21st, Keep the Wheels Rolling will host an event at Rita's Ice on Newark Pompton Turnpike.  Check back for details soon.
