Welcome to the Our Lady of Wisdom New Playground

Build Date: Phase 1 09/2008 - Phase 2 09/2009

We're a new elementary Catholic School in the Rainbow Falls area of Chestermere, Alberta. Currently, we have a small portable temporary school with approximately 130 children in grades kindergarten to grade 3. The permanent school in currently under constrution with expected date of completion in the summer of 2009.

We're excited to tell you about the progress of our playground thus far. The proposed supplier is Blue Imp for the main playground, with additional items currently under review. The approximate cost of the playground, including both phases is $176 000. We have been feverishly raising money through cookie dough sales, bottle recycling, raffle tickets and even a Carnival/ Silent Auction. So far, we've raised.....duh, duh, duh....$19 000. We are still in the planning/ fundraising stage of the project and are beginning to look for corporate donations in the coming weeks. As you can see, it's already mid April and with a proposed building date of September of this year, we have a lot of work to do in a very short time.
