The Equipment has arrived! - Friday, October 10, 2008
The playground equipment has arrived and wow is there alot of peices. It is going to take a lot of volunteers and elbow greese to get it all together.

BBQ and Yard Sale - Monday, August 20, 2007
Although our day was foggy and very wet our BBQ and Yard Sale was very successful with a great turnout. Thank you to everyone that supported us. Thanks Ronnie Chisholm for donating a jacket to sell tickets on. Thank you Encana for our t-shirts, Thank you RRFB for helping us green our event.

Bottle Drive a Success - Monday, July 09, 2007
The bottle drive held on July 7th was a huge success. We raised $471.00 for the playground and the support continues to grow. We also received $120 in donations on Saturday. A huge THANKS to everyone.

Welcome to the Ocean View Playground Project
Build Date: Fall 2008
Welcome to our home page! The members of the Ocean View Playground Society are very excited about this project and we want to share some of our excitement with you. Our goal is to construct a playgound and basketball court in Drum Head, Nova Scotia. This playground will be wheelchair accessible and completely surrounded by fence. In the next fifteen months there will be lots of fundraising activities in the area. This may seem like a big task for such a small community but we believe that with a lot of hard work and determination we can do this for our kids. The Society is aiming for Fall 2008 for construction of the playground.
We welcome and encourage everyone to get involved! Lets make our community a place that we can be proud of and a place where our children have a safe place to play. If you would like to volunteer or make a donation please contact us.
