Welcome to the NHS' Northwest Pointe Playland!

Welcome! We invite you to take a look around our Northwest Pointe Playland Website. Please come back often to check on our progress, and learn how you can volunteer to make the kids' dream a reality!
NHS is THRILLED to have the opportunity to build an amazing playground for the children and families of our Northwest Pointe Community. Our "Build Day" will take place on Thursday, June 28, 2007.
A FEW DETAILS.....
If you're a VOLUNTEER or just interested in assisting NHS on this great project, please review the following important information.
Location
- Northwest Pointe Apartments, 3475 N Five Mile Road, Boise ID 83704
Directions
- Located at Ustick Rd and N Five Mile; maps and further directions can be obtained from www.mapquest.com. Please be aware of ongoing construction on Ustick Road.
Parking
- Parking lots are available for volunteers on Prep Day and Build Day, located directly across from Northwest Pointe; the lots will be clearly marked with signage and directions
- Parking will be limited, so please carpool if possible!
- Please be sure to cross ONLY in the crosswalk at the stoplight

Prep Day
- Prep Day will take place on June 26, 2007
- All volunteers should report to the project location (3475 N Five Mile) by 8:30 a.m.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided
- Please DO NOT wear open-toed shoes
- Prep Day will conclude at 4 p.m.
Build Day
- Build Day will take place on June 28, 2007
- All volunteers should report to the project location (3475 N Five Mile) by 8 a.m. and Build Captains should arrive no later than 6:30 a.m.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided
- Other items provided: volunteer t-shirt, gloves, masks and sunscreen
- Please DO NOT wear open-toed shoes
- A First Aid Station will be available to all volunteers
- 94.9, The River will broadcast LIVE during the lunch hour and entertainment will be provided throughout the rest of the day
Please note: there are NO on-site provisions available for your personal effects (purses, cameras, etc.); NHS is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
