The Junior League of Sioux City (JLSC), Incorporated, is a 501(c)(3) organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. It may raise funds for the maintenance or furtherance of the charitable work in which the corporation has become interested and for which it has made itself responsible. It shall foster interest among its members in the social, economic, educational, cultural and civic conditions in the Siouxland area. It shall participate, as far as circumstances may warrant, in any activity designed and carried on to promote the general health of the community.
