After two years and two months of fundraising, we were finally able to see our dreams become a reality with a successful build day on May 17, 2008. We had a great turnout of over 65 volunteers who devoted their day to help build a spectacular playground for the children of East Otto and the surrounding Towns. Our playground consists of tons of slides, tunnels, overhead challengers, chimes panel, a rope climber, and a teeter totter, to name a few. The playground equipment is in but we still have a lot more that needs to be done to get our goals met for our Town Park Project. We still have to install the benches and signs, construct our pavillion, finish the surfacing and edging for the playground, and put in a basketball court area. We look forward to continuing to work towards our goal and we will keep you posted with our progress
