"Changing the Meaning of FUN!!!"
Description:  More than 200 volunteers from Reedy Industries, Inc. and Our Lady of Tepeyac Grade School, organizers from KaBOOM! and residents of the Chicago community will join forces on April 21 to build a new playground at Our Lady of Tepeyac Grade School. The design of the playground is based on drawings developed by students at a Design Day event held in February. "Dickens Village Family Fun Park"
Description:  Dickens Village Family Fun Park is a 6.3 acre multi-use facility for all ages. Activities will provide active and passive play areas such as a water activity area, a fish pond, butterfly garden, walking and biking trails, basketball/tennis courts, picnic areas, sand volleyball, and a community pavilion with sound and lights.

18th st. park renovations
Description:  My family and I are trying to redo the park at 18th and Oaks in Superior Wi. we want to give the kids around here a safe and fun place to play for all ages

18th Street Park Renavations
Description:  We want to redo our kids park. The kids in our neighborhood want to update there park it has not had any new equipment in it for at least 10 years and that was a new slide and everything else has been there for over 30 years so they decided they needed new updated things and things for all ages and things a little more for handicapped kids.

2006 Meldrim Memorial Park Rejuvenation Project
Description:  The Meldrim Civic Club Organization is currently trying to completely refurbish Meldrim Memorial Park. The park currently has equipment that is unsafe and most of the playground equipment in the park is 30 years old. The main focus of our rejuvenation project is to replace the unsafe equipment with equipment that has higher safety standards along with some handicap accessible equipment for the disabled children in the area.

47th and Sansom playground
Description:  The Enterprise Center CDC is working with residents to renovate a currently unsafe playground at 47th and Sansom Streets in West Philadelphia. Designed and built by the residents themselves, the new playground will provide a safe, attractive space for neighbors to meet, foster community pride, and raise residents' hopes of what is possible through collective action.

A New Place to Play at Walnut Creek Nature Park
Description:  The City of Baldwin Park is working with Home Depot and volunteers from the community to build a brand new playground at Walnut Creek Nature Park. The old playground has been removed and a new playground, complete with a rock wall, tether ball, and tire swing is now in its place. Many volunteers and local businesses were a part of making this special event happen and the residents of Baldwin Park are tremendously grateful.

A New playground for Hume
Description:  I and three other mothers of the small town of Hume are in the process of raising money to get new and safe playground equipment for our town park. We are planning on replacing swings,slides and adding a large playspace for children aging from 5-12.
