Cold Spring School Playground Project

Plymouth, MassachusettsAmerica’s Hometown

Project Overview

The Cold Spring Playground Renovation Committee was formed because families saw a need in the community and together came up with a plan to fill that need. We are just kicking off our effort to rebuild our neighborhood school playground. Our plan is to replace structures and resurface the area to provide games and activities for the children. The playground is almost 20 years old and has seen better days. It is a wooden structure with termites and bees living within it and could use some major updating!

Our Mission:

Our plan is to raise $50,000 by reaching out to the community and corporate sponsors. Our long term goal is to organize an event to promote health and fitness within the community, as well as raise funds for our project. Funding for new playgrounds today requires significant capital that the schools are not able to provide, given the tight budgets that they work with. The Cold Spring Playground Renovation Committee has been formed to fill that gap.

Proposed Site

We are in the process of trying to raise $50,000 to renovate the playground at Cold Spring Elementary School. Your donation will help the children of Cold Spring as well as those in the Plymouth community. The committee is dedicated to providing a playground that will promote health and fitness and become a place for the Plymouth community as a whole to enjoy for years.
