Chicago Child Care Society's goal is to create a playground that incorporates and respects the land's natural beauty and sources. The play equipment envisioned is intended to provide exercise and stimuli to the children that attend any of the programs offered by the agency. The equipment’s colors and the art work envisioned (stepping stones, mosaics, and murals) are intended to complement the nature that surrounds the space and provide a joyful experience to the children that interact with it. Chicago Child care Society envisions a playground built by a community of visionary people that enjoy and respect nature, life, and art.
