Welcome to BWE and our Kaboom home page. We're very excited that our dream of a new playground is now a reality!
We voted January 18 to decide which playground would be purchased and installed at the current playground site. The winning design can be found on the Project Photos section of this website. We also decided that March 24 would be our build day.
March 24 Brennan Woods Build Day! We had 130 volunteers show up to install the new playground for our students. We started building at 8 am and were completely finished by 3:30 pm that same day. Even though we were up to our ankles in mud, no one seemed to mind that much.
We were all excited to have this project completed, but no one was more excited than the kids! It was hard for them to have to wait a whole day before they could play on it, but I'm sure it was worth the wait. Thanks to all our volunteers and sponsors for helping us achieve our goal.
