Welcome to our home page! We're so glad you dropped by. Come back often to check on our progress, and learn how you can volunteer to hleop us make the kids' dream a reality.
KaBoom!, a non-profit organization, and funding partner Home Depot are donating a playgroud to the Walker Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi. But we have to build it with volunteer help. (That's where you come in.)
On February 14, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. until 3 p.m., we are building a playground (see design below) at the Walker Unit Boys & Girls Club (Click HERE for map to Walker Unit). Couldn't you use a day away from the office for some fresh air, free breakfast and lunch, entertainment, and that warm fuzzy feeling you get from helping others? And, if you cannot devote an entire day, you can come for half a day or even just a couple of hours. We are anticipating lots of media coverage and your presence there will show what a strong organization we are.
So, break out your work gloves and join us for a fun day of building. We'll have the tools and project leaders to guide you. And, if you happen to have a Valentine date, you'll have a mighty impressive story of how you spent your day.
