WELCOME TO ACAP's PLAY SPACE!  We are glad you came by to check us out.

We have been working towards renewing and rebuilding our playgrounds (3 of them) for the past two years.  ACAP provides full day childcare for children 4 weeks of age to 6 years from low and very low income families, Head Start, Special Needs Childcare and many kinds of parent support to our families.  We have been in operation since 1969, started by 6 community churches.  We are now a 501(c)3 nonprofit and have relocated to a site on the City of Auburn Washington's beautiful Les Gove Park.  Our existing playgrounds are worn, tired, well used by many many children. 

NOW, We are "ON OUR WAY" to renewing our play space.

We have been working to raise funds and just learned we have a $25,000 grant from the Washington State Commerce, Trade and Economic Development agency to match our DV and Ida McEachern Foundation grant.  We have also received a Boeing Employees Fund grant to match.   Some additional funds from Head Start are contributing outdoor learning activities that will be located around the site.

We are working with the Kaplan Company designing our playground.  In fact, the first of the pieces are arriving the second week of January.   We hope to have our site completed by the end of April.
