ARMCO Park has been an important community resource in the Butler County community since 1934 for use as a recreational facility for the families of ARMCO’s employees and their families. In 2005, the YMCA took ownership of this facility and expanded access to the public.

On May 23, 250 volunteers will band together to build an instant playground for the children at The Salvation Army Northwest Corps Boys & Girls Club. An empty plot will become a bustling kid's playworld within a matter of hours thanks to volunteers and the generous contributions of The Home Depot and the Kaboom! Operation Playground initiative.

The YMCA is currently building an all new YMCA facility in Beaver Dam, WI. The new location will have increased capacity for all swimming, childcare and fitness programs as well as an all new outdoor field sports complex for soccer, baseball and flag football programs. Thomas Carroll School Playground Committee

The Thomas Carroll Elementary School is nestled in the east end of Peabody. Built in 1914, the Carroll School is a significant part of the city’s history. Peabody was the first community in Massachusetts to establish a class for immigrants to receive instruction on becoming United States citizens.
