North Front Street Park
Description:  The Woodburn Community Services Department is working on the "Playground Restoration Program" which calls for the replacement of at least one playground each year. This year, we will build a new playground at North Front Street Park!!! Our build day is September 8, 2007. Stay tuned for more details!

Ocean View Playground
Description:  The Ocean View Playground Society is made up of community members from Coddles Harbour to Goldboro, Nova Scotia. We are committed to raising enough funding to build a wheelchair accessable playground and basketball court which will be completly fenced. Our goal is to have the project completed for Spring 2008.

Description:  Life Stages & Development partnered with Word of Life Church has delivered and sponsored many community projects. As a faith based organization we are commited to providing several promises to all ages of children in the community which include; a safe place to allow development of social interaction skills, a place to promote physical fitness and recreation in one place and to teach the children the importance of giving back to the community and an opportunity to serve.

Description:  New playground for new elementary school

Our Park
Description:  Carriage Hills subdivision has had a designated park area since the beginning of this subdivision in the 1960's. However, it has never reached that vision of being a park for everyone in our neighborhood to use. The City of Independence is in the process of making a walking trail. We would like to eventually have playground equipment put in at the big park and a skateboard area put in at the small park across the street.

Description:  We plan to expand the existing playground to include more features for the 0-5 age group as well as handicapped children

Oxford School Playzone
Description:  The elementary school parents at Oxford School want to provide a safe and new play structure for the P-6 classes at the school, as well as the children that live in the surrounding community. There is currently no equipment suitable to the ages of these children to play on at recess or after school.

Pacific Camps South Oxnard Renovation
Description:  Renovation of existing field. Camp site is home to over 150 children year-round in after-school and summer day camp facility.
