Register Your Project and Create Your Web Site

With Project Registration you will open the door to more opportunities within the KaBOOM! Online Portal to learn and share information with other communities that have engaged in building a community playspace. If you haven't registered your project with KaBOOM! yet, please do it here. To Create Your Web Site with KaBOOM! please start by filling in the basic information below. If you do not see the Project Setup form below, please Log In using your current KaBOOM! User Name and Password, then return to this page.

These Web Sites are a great tool for communities to center their build activities around. The first set of questions below is all that's required in order to set up your new online Web Site. When you click "continue" you will be directed to a new page with your Web site's URL.
 
Before just jumping in, you might want to see what you are getting into. We have a Getting Started Guide (PDF) that will tell you what to expect and what to have ready so that this process can go as smoothly as possible.

Some quick tips for setting up your project's web site.

  1. Wondering where the form is? You are actually on a separate web site and you need to create a login and password here, too. Sorry about that. You can do it quickly here. Just use the same one you used for the main site. When you are done, click on the Create Your Web Site button at the top of the page. That will put you back here.
  2. It could take up to 5 minutes for a web site to create after completing the first page of the registration, so your patience is appreciated. If you find that the portal did not create after a "long" time 15-20 minutes should do it, please do not try it again immediately. This only logjams the system. Instead, email webmaster@kaboom.org with the name of the name and the approximate time the attempt was made. We'll clear the error.
  3. If you can't find your site, check under My Web Sites on the horizontal menu of this site. You will need to be logged in to see this list.
