Hurricane Katrina Anniversary Week Blitz-Builds

KaBOOM! has partnered with The Home Depot and Playworld Systems to build ten playgrounds in the Gulf Coast during the week leading up to the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina making landfall.  Build Day for Beck Park is set for Thursday, August 31.

Build Date: Thursday August 31, 2006

Beck Park is located in an up-and-coming neighborhood in East Biloxi, MS that suffered a considerable amount of damage in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.  The community hopes that building a playground at Beck Park will help be a turning point for the neighborhood and will help rebuild its hope and spirit.
